Captain Penry Biography


Captain Jeremy D. Penry is the Assistant Director of Operations who directly assists the detachment commander in ensuring the proper execution of all detachment operations. He is also an Assistant Professor of Aerospace Studies for Air Force Reserve Officer Training Corps, Detachment 390, at the University of Michigan in Ann Arbor.  Capt Penry is responsible for developing cadets into leaders and commissioned officers in the US Air Force. Prior to assuming his current position, Capt Penry was the Lead Systems Engineer for the development of a new joint and international RADIAC on the Radiological Detection System Program under the Joint Program Executive Officer for Chemical, Biological, Radiological, and Nuclear Defense at Aberdeen Proving Ground, MD.
