Detachment 390 is an outstanding Air Force ROTC environment. Not only do students from University of Michigan-Ann Arbor (our host school) participate, but students attending a number of the top universities in Southeastern Michigan are able to bring their experiences and perspectives to our cadet wing. Our crosstown schools include the following:
Eastern Michigan University
Lawrence Technological University
Spring Arbor University
Wayne State University
University of Michigan-Dearborn
University of Michigan-Flint
I would like to highlight a couple of these universities that have gone above and beyond to provide support for the cadets who are part of Detachment 390.
Oakland University: Oakland University provides support for their Detachment 390 cadets with the Veterans Support Services office. This department provides study space, a textbook loan program, events, chances to connect with veterans, resources, and much more. It is open to any student that is an active cadet in Detachment 390. Please visit oakland.edu/veterans for more information.
Wayne State University: Wayne State University provides support for Detachment 390 cadets through their Student Veterans Resource Center. This program offers study space, conference rooms, events, university counselor, and much more. Currently the resources provided are only for contracted cadets in Detachment 390.
